To the Army

TEN-HUT!

We need you! Please pray for Ayden's surgery next week!

Other than what you already know to pray for (the Lord to guide the surgeon's hand, to give Strength to Ayden's body, to provide wisdom for the medical teams, etc.), we hope that you will also pray for the following items:
  1. early extubation, preferably the first night
  2. no surgical collateral damage or extubation collateral damage or any collateral damage!
  3. "normal" amounts of fluid buildup that can be easily and quickly managed with chest tubes and diuretics (Effusions are often what keep these children in the hospital for longer amounts of time; they are also what often brings them back to the hospital once discharged.)
  4. Ayden's mental and emotional anxiety
  5. Ayden's drinking by the fourth day (hopefully earlier!) followed by eating (i.e. NO feeding tubes!)
  6. Bryan's wisdom, patience, and strength, as he will be Ayden's primary caregiver while in the hospital
We believe in prayer. We believe in the Body of Christ. We believe that Ayden's Army lifting Ayden up to the Lord and singing His praises are of the utmost importance to Ayden's recovery. Thank you for your prayers!

I know our little man will persevere! We hope to see him walk out of that hospital with his arms raised: "Touchdown!" VICTORY!
Praises: Boone is going home tomorrow; Katie's twins were born healthy; and Jude is on the floor! MIGHTY GOD!
