11:15 AM- Matt & Diana are still with Jude. The surgeon was asked to assist on another surgery. The extra time has allowed Jude the opportunity to acclimate and flirt.
12:45 PM- Jude is in surgery.
3:45 PM- We have nothing new to report. The surgical team is still working.
4:45 PM -By all accounts, surgery is progressing smoothly. The surgeon may be done within the next hour.
6:00 PM- Surgery is complete. Surgeon said the procedure went well. Jude's cardiologist said he looks good. His oxygen saturations are 92%, and he should be extubated this evening. Jude will be moved out of the OR soon. Matt & Diana will not see him for a couple of hours.
