Indeed, I believe having an older sibling makes the younger one develop quicker. Brogan likes for us to put him in the standing position, and he then makes efforts to "walk." I bet he'll be walking on his own by ten months!
Brogan adores Ayden. In fact, one of my prayer requests for while Ayden is in the hospital is for Brogan to continue having good days in his brother's (and Daddy's) absence. Ayden is so good about comforting Brogan and loving on him, and I know that Ayden will be sorely missed over the next few weeks. And I think Ayden will miss him too... Ayden enjoys laughing at Brogan's farting and pooping... and, no, we didn't teach Ayden that that was funny!

Brogan currently sleeps through the night... and I'm not talking about a doctor's poor definition of sleeping through the night (five hours. blah!). He sleeps eight to nine hours! His current sleep habits are such a praise for our family, as Bryan and I were starting to look and feel a little tired!
Taking pictures of Brogan is really difficult. Not only am I an awful photographer, but Brogan isn't terribly photogenic. (Sorry, Buddy!) It's a good thing that Jordan takes better pictures than I do, or I wouldn't have too many good ones of our family. Thank you, Jordy!
Brogan really is a great baby. Granted, I might be a little biased because he's a bit of a Mama's Boy right now, but I don't see how anyone can resist his smiles and coos. I love it when he gets super energetic and happy and begins kicking and waving his arms rapidly. He's so cool.

Brogan had his first pool adventure last weekend. Since he loves bathtime, we thought he might enjoy the experience. Not so much. We think the water was still too cold for him. Click below to see pictures from the pool and other fun times with family.
