Mouth of the South: The True Meaning

Recently, Ayden received a developmental evaluation. He scored the highest cognitively, which is a tremendous blessing! His next highest scores were in the areas of communication and social interaction. He focuses well when people are talking to him, and he tries to also participate in the conversation with varying degrees of inflection, meaning, and attitude.

I wish that I could capture our little communicator on video, but it's very difficult to do so. One usually has to be talking to him in order to get him talking. When I have tried to do this with the camera in my hand, he is more interested in staring at the camera than having a discussion with me. (He's probably wondering why I am constantly holding a silver box in front of my face, trying to capture all of the amazing things he does naturally with Bryan and me.)

So, here is a sample set of what little I could capture on film:

Two things that make me laugh about this video are as follows:
1. At the beginning, he tastes his fingers. He obviously didn't like them.
2. He is showing you his new crunch move. I believe that he is trying to sit up.
