Cath Update #4: Heading to the PACU

The cath is all done. I just met with the doctor. In his opinion, Ayden is ready for the Fontan. All the pulmonary pressures were within normal range. There were no collateral vessels needing to be coiled. Now I am waiting for them to get him off the ventilator and into the PACU. This is where we will wait for a bed to open up somewhere in the hospital. I'm praying they are able to fit him into the cardiac unit, where they know him and, quite possibly more importantly, they know me. It could be several hours before we get situated, so don't be concerned if the next update doesn't come for awhile.
