Home

As of mid afternoon today, we are officially at home as a family of four. Allison and Brogan were discharged a little after lunchtime. One the way home, we made a pit stop to visit Dr. K so she could get one last look at Brogan via an ECHO. As before, everything looked normal. In this area, he is nothing like big brother.
I didn't handle the ECHO as well as my big brother does, but I still did pretty well for someone so small.

Speaking of Ayden, he has done surprisingly well since Brogan has been home. I know it's early, and Ayden does not yet understand how much things will change for him, but he has been very good. He's touched Brogan several times and even patted him some. Ayden kind of hit Brogan once, but it wasn't malicious. We will just have to work with him on what's safe for his little brother right now. He understands the concept of "gentle," so we'll try to build on that.

I'd like to say more, but we are heading into our first evening with a newborn (remember, when we took Ayden home, he was over two months old), so I am going to try to get a head start on sleep.
