Egg Hunting 101

Well, as is the custom around here, our Easter plans did not go as... planned. Ayden was supposed to have two separate Easter egg hunts while we spent time with two sets of friends. Unfortunately, definite sickness and possible sickness nixed what we had set up. (Given that we are still dealing with the fallout of the last time Ayden got sick, I don't think we could mentally handle it if he got sick again right now.)
So, we had to scramble to find a place for Ayden to have his own little hunt (the area around our townhome wasn't an option - we have no yard and our worthless fellow residents have ensured the common areas are littered with dog droppings). After considering a few options, we checked out the recess area of the nearby elementary school. It turned out to be perfect.
So, in the end, Ayden got to experience his first Easter egg hunt. I spread out 17 eggs for him to find, not really knowing what to expect. I figured he'd locate the first few, then be satisfied with just playing with them. As it turned out, he was pretty into it and required only the occasional piece of encouragement or guidance to find the next egg.

After the hunt was completed, Ayden couldn't resist the urge to play for a few minutes.
Later, of course, he got to see what all his hunting netted him. (Allison had filled the eggs with toy bugs and cars.)
What was Brogan doing during the hunt? Well, if you listen closely to parts of the video, you'll hear him screaming in the background.
