This time around, I was a little bit more on the ball. I've been working on the video for his second year for several months now. There was so much more video (close to three hours worth) to pare down to a viewable length. Last year's video clocked in at a little over nine minutes. This year's? Fifteen. Given that I had a least twice as much video, I think I did a decent job of only making it 50% longer.
I did this last time, so I might as well this time, too. Things that stand out to me when watching this: no clips of Ayden in the hospital (!!!!); how much his walking has improved; why didn't we always tape his feeding tube to his back?; how he can look so different in the face while looking almost exactly the same (something else that probably doesn't make sense); his hair can get rather crazy at times; and, well, he's just so big, old, different.
