All These Precious Babies!

I woke up this morning to several text messages, emails, and blog updates. As a result, I petitioned to the Lord and praised His Name.

• A childhood friend of mine, Alison, delivered her second baby boy, Boone, at 1:15AM. He weighed 8lbs 15oz and measured 22 inches long. Due to lung issues, he was admitted to the NICU and is currently under an oxygen hood and receiving antibiotics.
• A college friend of ours, Katie, will be delivering twins today. She is 36 weeks pregnant.
• Jude was extubated last night around 10:30. He is on a nasal cannula at two liters. He is doing well, though he (and his daddy, Matt) had a restless evening. You can continue to follow his recovery on their blog at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/gabrieljude.
• Our precious friends, Phil, Elise, Max, & Alex, have adopted a sweet baby boy. They have named him Samuel. I cannot yet post pictures of him (not until it's official in six months), but I can assure you that he is so beautiful and amazing. CONGRATULATIONS!
